9th Annual Christian Service Awards Reception honors
17 outstanding students with scholarships totaling $136,000!

On March 4, 2009 the Catholic Community Foundation's donors, sponsors, staff, board and committee members, in addition to over 250 invited guests, witnessed 17 most-deserving students receive $8,000 scholarships each toward their Catholic high school education. For their exemplary Christ-centered service Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted decorated each recipient with custom 2009 St. Katharine Drexel medallions while Award Sponsors and Christian Service Award Committee Members presented them each with certificates of Excellence.
